Hunting of forest birds

If your target is capercaillie, black grouse or hazel grouse, Finland must be among the top destinations in the world. Although the yearly fluctuations in the population of these birds can be drastic, we at Finnhunting always select the areas where the most birds are found to ensure your chances for a successful hunting trip. 

Thanks to good infrastructure and road networks you rarely have to travel more than 2 hours by car from the nearest airport to reach the prime hunting areas. Once there you will be accommodated in a comfortable cabin at the center of hunting grounds. 

The hunting season for all these birds starts on September 10th, and depending on the year continues up to the 31st of October.
